I've never done a Tax Return before :\ last time, my mother filed it for me, and I got 700$ back.
Now I have two provinces to worry about - Ontario and Quebec - and not even getting help for the Ontario bit (which they should know how to do). I've gone through H&R Block as well as another, CRA-approved tax return program, but both are giving me about the same amount for my return - 1,300$ to 1,550$ - which is double what I got the year before. Worker's Income Tax Benefit alone boosts it from 500$ (which makes sense to me) to 1,200$ish. Then I add transport costs and that jumps it another 60 or so.
Any tips? Or anyone wanna help me do it? Or know somewhere that costs not too much in Montreal, but yields good results? This thread is currently associated with: N/ABecause of fake prints, stacking manus is no longer allowed
But you can still stack Coupon Zone + 1x Manu, like other Maxi / Loblaw Stores

Yeah, but there's on federal (which I mistakenly called Ontario, I guess lol) and one for Revenue Quebec.
And I'll check out that coupon. The online H&R Block gave the same results as a government-approved tax return program, and since I earn <20,000$/year, they'll submit it for free, but I can't use NetFile for some reason (it says I don't qualify) and to print them off... Well, it's 61 pages long lol I might transfer the information to a paper copy and submit it that way, but the post office is so far away /sadBecause of fake prints, stacking manus is no longer allowed

I recommend H&R on Ave. du Parc. The older gentleman (60+) working there is just awesome. I think he is kind of head consultant there. It's been 2 years we are doing taxes with him and he is always finding us returns/deductions/credits that we had no idea about
