Afternoon all, can't seem to get myself to stay in the house.. It is soo beautiful out. No thunderstorms here this am. Been bike riding and sitting in the sun reading..Oh how quiet it is when all the kids are in school. I found a nest of cardinals but they are kinda high up, hubbie took the ladder away from me. I never get to have any fun. I wasn't going to get to close but just wanted a decent shot. From the Roof!!!!! I'll wait till he's not home!! our roof is not really high but a great vantage point.
I hope everyone is well and enjoying the weather, hopefully it will stay nice and we all get tickets to the Sugar Beach party....
Gonna sit a few and make dinner. Everyone seems way more hungry when you can get out and about!

I was driving in to the airport early this morning when the storm was in full swing. I was looking right at an old barn when it was struck by lightning on the top of the roof. Sparks flew and it reminded me of this scene from Back to the Future.



It was frightening and very cool all at the same time. I had blue spots in my eyes just like a bright camera flash had gone off.

I know what you mean - I used to see blue spots all the time - for the better part of the late 70's anyway.
