I just tried a bunch of easy summer salads for DH's bday BBQ a couple weeks ago (broccoli salad, coleslaw salad, baked potato salad, Greek pasta salad). The most popular was the broccoli salad!

Oh Broccoli salad. I was planning on making that this week. I saw the smallest portion of it at the grocery store this week for like $4! Crazy price.

my all time favorite has to be there or it wouldn't be a bbq is jerk chicken, its ex[pected at any bbq i attended or host everyone loves it

Mmm taco dip. I've never really had anything fancy on the bbq other then the usual so don't really have a fave. I love anything on the bbq!

I love chili cheese dip, its hot and you serve with nacho chips

When I have 30 minutes of free time I love to take a hot bubble bath, read a book, or just chill in front of mindless TV lol.

I really like this stuff too. My SIL will always make this for family get togethers and she does a really nice job. I did see this at the store too and it was like $4.00 for about a cupful..LOL

I have pretty much tried cooking everything on the BBQ----some hits , some miss..(some things just don't taste good with the smokey taste). I have done pancakes, muffins, roasts, breakfast and everything else in between.. my fav. is taking the backbone out of a whole chicken and flatten it out and cook on one side and turn the heat off and let it cook away, rotate every 15 mins or so and towards the en baste with fav. sauce. Its better than Swiss Chalet! And slices of fresh pineapple grilled are really nice too!

My favorite BBQ food is a big ol' juicy cheeseburger!!! And I LOVE pasta salad, especially greek pasta salad

I love the greek pasta salad sold at the superstore. Does anyone know a recipe that is close to it? I only get it once in a while but would love to make it myself.
