    Just called up to complain about them increasing the price of their service by $5 per month automatically. Instead of paying an additional $5, I'm getting $20 off per month now Sweet deal

    Yeah...I was just as surprised...first call too!! They're increasing us from 15 Mbps to 20 Mbps but the fine print on the junk mail also states they'll be charging an extra $5 per month. So I complained about the way it was done and they gave me $20 off

    Now that is a great thing that they did... Since I work for a company in the department that takes the complaints I know that if a customer is really nice to us we'll bed over backwards to help them but if they are rude we try to do as little as possible... I'm glad they managed to make you happy!!!

    Phoned Eastlink to let them know I was thinking about going with another service provide for high speed internet and see if they would match the deal. They couldn't give me a deal on the hi-speed but gave me a better deal on cable. I saved $20 a month for a year. Then the price went back up to the original. I phoned again and got the same deal for another year.... I've let others know and they have done the same. You never know until you try!!!

    just left them today.getting hooked up on satellite..long story short 4 years of bad signal where i live almost unwatchable.based on the influx of service calls i had i had to pay nothing to leave their service for cable...very good company..good prices for what you get $132 a month for max digital plus unlimited interweb but their signal sucked here and i was sick of it...kept their internet...i find if you bargain with a company they will almost always give you something..

    I left Eastlink years ago. I thought I'd never go DSL, but I've been extremely satisfied with Bell. The thing that bothered me most about Eastlink was the fact I'd lose phone service when the power was out. Five+ days w/o phone service after Juan was nerve wracking to say the least.
