So my DH says lets go to Walmart and maybe Cdn Tire. Well okay if you insist! Pack up the kids and off we go. He takes the baby and I take off with DS. No nexxus travel size
. Low and behold they have more gillette foam
so I grab 9 cans. Moving onto the pet section stumble upon a trial size of dog food
, I go in search of more but no luck. Grab a few other things and head to the cash. The cashier was about to give me a heard time with the gillette coupons as she wanted to do seperate transactions but she gave me a wink and said I'll tell them you insisted on one and i'll do it all together. I love my walmart cashiers for the most part.
The best part of our outting was Cdn Tire. Really don't like that store but thank you DH for wanting to go. Was looking for the scrubbing bubbles trigger that was on sale and found 20 count snuggle!!! They still had some. the were $1.29 each but I had $1.50 off coupons. I grab 10! Do a little more shopping and come out saving over 50% off the total bill
10 snuggles $1.29 each - $1.50 = .21 in my pocket each
1 SB trigger $7.59 - $5 = 2.59
2 Royale 6 pk $3.79 each - $1 = 2.79 each
1 2000 flush on sale but no coupon
= 2.97
Total before coupons including taxes $35.17
After coupons including taxes $13.17
I got the overages fromt the snuggle!!This thread is currently associated with: WalmartLast edited by Lindz13; Sat, Jun 11th, 2011 at 05:26 PM.

That's great!!! I tried to avoid cdn tire because of the rude cashiers but sometimes they have great deals you can't pass up. Good for you!!!

I live in a small city, we have a cdn tire, walmart, Extra foods and safeway. Most cashiers at all these places are young teenagers that either don't care as they are only there to get paid minimum wage and party after their shift or they are true sticklers to every rule or non existant rules. Since I know just about all of them now I've pretty much 'profiled' them all to know which ones to avoid and which ones to wait an extra few minutes in line for. Kinda sounds bad when you write it out!

In some cases it could also mean damn husband (or so my husband thought until he read the rest of the what was being typed).
I just had an email conversation with my friend about this very same "dh" thing. She was telling me that my husband told her he could not buy me a mower cause he didn't have a cpn. I emailed back saying "I have the best DH! She emails back saying "well you should see mine, its white and has 4 different tires but they all hold air" I respond, huh? She asks what DH means. "Ummm ... dear husband". She responds back saying, oh, I thought that was the brand of your lawn tractor" I couldn't stop laughing.
<-- I guess you had to be there.

Great finds. As I'm still new to couponing and trying to figure out all the different store policies, I never knew Canadian Tire gave overages. Thanks a bunch for the info. It's great to see what couponers are finding!
