Thread: checkout 51 business model?
-

Anyone have any info on how Checkout 51 operates (i.e. how they make their profit)?
At first I thought that they would be getting a kickback from the brands they promoted, but now that they have the $1 back for uploading any $60+ receipt, I'm wondering if they are selling info for market researchers or something?
I use the app and LOVE it, just curious...This thread is currently associated with: N/A

They get a handling fee from the manufacturers for the rebates, and they sell the info from the reciepts over $60.
