Went to Zellers today just to get the 5/ $5 BBQ sauce and the Purex for $5.99. But I found some more deals.

I got

5x BBQ sauce for $5.00 > no coupon but good deal
3x purex on for $5.99each> 3x $3.00 off =$8.97 ($2.99 each)
3x venus spa razors. Marked down 50% = 4.99each> 3x$2.00 off ($2.99 each)
1x Dawn soap on for $2.00 > 1x $1.00 off = $1.00
2x old spice gift set $10.00 Marked down = $4.99each 2x $3.00 off (1.99 each)
1x Old spice deoderant $4.99 Marked down = $2.49 1x$1.00 off ($1.49)
3x Gillette mens body wash $6.00 marked down = $2.49 each buy 3 get $5.00 off coupon used ($.82 each)
1x candy for hubby $1.69 marked down=$.79
and because we used our Zellers card we got and extra 10% off
Total befor tax 109.63
oop = 34.59
savings = aprox $75.04

First time using more than one coupon at Zellers. Cashier was not going to accept my coupons because the products were already marked down. I got her to call her manager over after she charged our credit card the full price without taking the coupons off. Manager told her that yes you are aloud to use coupons on marked down products. Appologized and refunded our credit card and then rang it through properly.

This coupon thing is not easy. But feels good to save

Great shopping. Sometimes it is hard and you have to stand your ground. But its worth it. And sometimes you are lucky and have great cashiers. Then the transaction is a breeze. That's why some brags on here are about the cashier more than the products bought.

The dawn coupon I had was any dawn product $1 off. I used the $2off any old spice products. I can't remember where I got the coupons, I have only been collecting for a month now. I just grab and clip coupons whenever I see them, lol.
