so basically,,, you cant stack.. but then again its upto the individual shoppers if they allow u to stack or not? is that what u mean?

but the policy states u cant stack.. so how is ur local shoppers allowing it?!!??! this is so confusing!

so disappointing even though I have a London Drugs to stack at it would have been fantastic for those who don't have LD nearby sigh
I am glad that they cleared up the whole 1.99product vs $2 coupon issue though - I had emailed SD regarding this issue a while back. It is interesting to see that alot of companies are revamping their policies - there must be alot of enquiries?

thanks I am happy even though no stacking as the policy will come in handy as so many times we have problems that won't arise with this policy.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news people, but Shoppers is not stacking. One coupon per item per purchase. You can use as many coupons you want per transaction. the only time a second coupon will be allowed is if it is a bonus points coupon.

oops posted this before i saw that the policy had been posted!

Well that was short lived. Actually drove over to Shoppers in Mission JUST to see what the deal was. Here is the just of what I got.

Shoppers in Mission WAS stacking only for a short time. This was supposed to be on the hush hush.

Unfortunately, the other day, ONE person came in and totally abused this and they were forced to stop immediately. They had mentioned that they had seen it written on a coupon forum.

Here's the super sad thing. It seem that this WAS directed from head office and may have been a Test Project to see how well the stacking would be for the stores.

This does not look good on the coupon community.

and Sadly, the good couponers are the only ones who will suffer.

I'm beginning to wonder when the "clear the shelf of every product imaginable" phaze will wear out and it will be easier to coupon again.

It seems unlikely they were actually supposed to stack. If a chain is using a store as a "test store" they wouldn't stop it after 1 person and 1 transaction. The store is likely trying to either blame their mistake on someone else, or is making up excuses.

Honestly, when I read this, it really pissed me off. And my first thought was, it's people like this that are going to ruin things for all of us. Now, I find out today that SDM in Mission is no longer stacking, and one of the major reasons for it is that it was posted on coupon message boards! Imagine that! Not to mention someone going in and "abusing" the system. Honestly people, when are the greedy couponers going to run out of room in their houses so that those of us who are honestly just trying to help out our families can do that without hassle? I'm all for helping each other out, and passing on a tip here and there, but let's get our facts straight before we go posting stuff across the country!
