It is to put on the window for my portative AC..it is the less thick ones,,,but this afternoon I took my measures and after use a ruler to trace the square cutting with an x-acto many time at the same line but it dont came right was broke and falling apart...so at 15$ a sheet ...1 have still one more chance to get it right and I did not want to miss it.

cath007-I have not cut plexiglas but have heard from more knowledgeable folks that the sheet's plastic film should remain on and that a special drill bit for making holes in plexiglas is required. You wrote you are cutting the glass-do you have a saw with fine and many teeth?

Would you have a helpful hardware store person willing to cut the plexiglas for you? Or handy neighbour? Or maybe a senior group of handy people at the community centre willing to cut your plexiglas in their shop class?
