Wow, did I get some crap offers and NO bonus offers this week!
I had good offers last week and this week I was happy to get 1400 on no name pie fillings. Now, I do not use pie fillings but do use pumpkin purée and it works with this deal. Large can on sale for 2.28, so I did well. Hello pumpkin muffins!
the rest of my offers are boring and on things I never buy......this gluten free girl cannot take advantage of any processed stuff. I would love more produce offers.
honestly though I am very happy with this program. When the deals are good I stock up.
I got some personalized offers (apparently). Ones that I'm likely to use are tomatoes (100pts for every $1), apples (100pts for every $1), possibly the cucumber one (200pts/ea). I was planning on picking up some tomatoes and apples anyways, and if cucumbers are an okay price, I'll get 2-3 of those.
The rest are things that I either don't buy, or don't need right now (PC blue menu whole wheat pasta, Peek Freans cookies, fresh beef, PC chips, PC dips, blueberries, cashews, shredded cheese, some kind of juice cocktail, family size PB, mayo, another dip, and Tassimo discs)
More crap offers this week for me. I've bought kcups probably 15 times over the last 6-8 months or so and I get a tassimo offer?! Nice.
I got an offer for 4000 pts for every $5 spent on pedigree dog food. This is what we use. It was $27.98. I got 20000 pts. Not bad..$7.98 for a large bag. I bought this at No Frills. The young man cashing me out commented in disbelief that I got that many points. I mentioned sc, I would never have noticed this kind of offer on my own. Thanks everyone!!
Kraft Dinner: Noticed RCSS has 500 pc,points and could pm with Rexall who has it on sale for $.88 so $.38... Not bad...of course we have an personal offer for 200 points that ends today! Lol
I hope my offers will be online before 9am tomorrow so I can check to see if I can use any for the grocery trip (Gay Lea butter is $2.99 at Fortino's so will get two).
I've suspected for a while that my No Frills purchases have been tracked (through purchases with gift cards also used at Loblaws with my PC Plus card), and wow, it will totally pay off this week! Almost all of my offers this week are regular purchases for me, YAY!
I just loaded the best offer I think I've ever had: spend $20 on produce, get 2000 points! SWEET! Produce usually makes up most of my orders anyway! Add the points for mushrooms, apples, bananas and romaine, and I'm a happy girl ;)
I got 7500 for club sized pampers, they are 28.02 at my store. I paid $0.14 for a box using $10 pampers coupon, redeeming 20,000 pts and $1.20 in super bucks.
The best way to improve PCPLUS would be to allow you to select what you want, or have a list of things you buy.
EG have a big long checklist a person can fill out should they wish to, so they can select beef and chicken but not seafood if they don't eat it, or only Folgers coffee, or selecting that you have a dog or a baby or whatever. Or a "what are you shopping for this week" list where you can add that you need sugar and waffles so they give you offers on sugar and waffles...
My mom bought gifts for a baby shower a couple times and now she regularly gets diaper offers. It's not as good as it could be for real personalization. They always give me offers for something just after I've already purchased it. If I just bought it, why do I need more?
They don't really want to help you save though, they want you to buy more/certain products. They look at what you buy and give you some offers and hope you will buy the others
Some of DH's offers I've never even heard of
2400 pts Brosia honey
800 pts Molinaro's
800 pts Alexia frozen veg
800 pts Sobaya pasta
800 pts Cocoa camino bars
900 pts Tom's of Maine toothpaste (aware of it but not our brand)
Sorry but not tempted at all
