Sorry but for all you haters of this program ... I wont be part of this anymore and this will be my last post on this thread and I will be unsubscribing right after I post this.
Putting my 2 cents in ... I love this program, point blank!!! In 8 months I have cashed out on over $250.00 worth of groceries which doesnt include coupons. Hello???
Now I'm done ...
i just logged in now and they have added a new offer for me spent $50 baby items get 5000pts....this offer was not there when I last checked on friday. do they add offers during the mid-week now?
I just got the offer of 10,000 pts when you spend $50.
Can anyone tell me if that is 10,000 pts for every $50 I spend in 1 transaction or only on the first $50?
My new offers
200 every $1 spent on frozen seafood
600 PC Over 50% fruit and pure jam
600 Deliworld bread
200 PC pop and sparkling soda
200 Exact lozenges
Good timing for the pop, husband almost done his cola stash!
Had a good experience with the call centre yesterday. When I shopped on Saturday, some points from one of my digital offers were not awarded. Called yesterday after work (had tried on weekend, Saturday evening and Sunday morning and call centre was closed) and got through right away. The message that "the current wait time is approximately one minute" was barely done when someone answered. I explained that I had bought five boxes of Christies crackers, but only one box had points awarded. She asked for the date of my shop, told me she would award the points and asked if she could put me on hold for a minute or two, came back and told how many points were awarded, my new current point balance and it was done. From the time I started dialing, to the time I got off the phone was 6 minutes.
I checked my points balance a few minutes ago, and yes, everything was awarded. If all calls could be handled this well, that would be great :)
I also received three new offers today (even though my new list is tomorrow).
5000 on baby products or baby food
5000 on Dailies total one contact lenses
500 for every $5 finish Power or Free
if the Pepperrige Farm cracker deal is still good you can also get 50c on checkout 51 today :)
I received the 10,000 for $50 spent offer too.
I'm still fighting for the last offer we loaded and used (10,000 points for $50). Not looking good so far as PC Plus claimed that we didn't swipe our card. When I looked at the receipt, it shows our card was swipe but the PC plus account showed a different points balance compared to our account. To make thing worse, we used a gift card to pay for our purchase so there is no "proof" that we "spent" the money on the purchase. The more I think about it, we should have paid by PCF credit card so there is a proof of payment. Lesson learned.
^^ had that offer last week too - did you spend $50 out of pocket AFTER all discounts, coupons?
if not than you will not receive the points so I am told by them - they said that using a gift card for your purchase was considered a discount and that I did not actually spend $50
only offer this week for me is the 10,000 wus $50
Here's my offers for this week
1000-Becel Margarine
200-On every $1.00 spent on potatoes
800-Special K flatbread sandwich
800-Blueberries
200 On every $1.00 spent on onions
1600-Purina cat chow
200- On every $1.00 spent on pomegranates
200-On every $1.00 spent on peppers
1000-Quaker muffin mix
1000-Buitoni pizza
1000-Highliner Signature breaded fish fillets
1000-Chex cereal
800 -Oh Henry chocolate bars
800-Bisto instant gravy
800-Schneider's luncmate & fruit
1000-Vector bars
I am amazed how creative they are ....
They have not used this excuse on my purchase yet. The gift card came from my work place so I don't have proof for the payment of the gift card neither. They have been saying that I didn't make the purchase as I don't have proof of payment. ... I'm about to give up and move on.
As you should. Gift cards are not coupons! If it was a promotional card like SDM sometimes has (the $10 "gift card" when you spend $50 with an expiry, which isn't a true gift card), then I could understand it. Gift cards are just as good as cash! You can't earn points when you BUY a gift card, so why wouldn't you be entitled to earn points when you spend it?
Yesterday I purchased $58.81 ($52.83 before tax) and used a $10 GC. I got my 10,000 wub $50.
The explanation does not sound correct.
Loaded my offers and headed to store. Got points for Romaine (600) but none for soup (400). Exact soup as in the offer and I bought 4 different varieties of them. Asked the help person at self check out and show the details on my phone but she could not figure out either. I buy knorr stuff on regular basis all varieties and including the one in picture, so I know that is the correct one but still did not give me points. Okay, I will return these knorr soups next time, not calling CSR again.
Don't go ... I too love this program and have save a ton of $$$ as I've posted in this thread. I've also posted my frustration that 8 weeks after requesting my PCPlus and PC Financial Accts be combined, and so far not happening. I don't think there's anything wrong with a little constructive criticism, and sharing ones personal experiences within this comprehensive Rewards program and hopefully you'll rethink your position, cuz we need the positive stuff too. ;)
Wow PC Points is loco!
I was still looking for the dispensers, so I went to the Langley RCSS and found them. This is what happened.
Bought 2 Lysol Dispensors @ $9.97 (plus 5,000 pts each)
Total $23.39 - $20.00 (20,000 PC pts used)
OOP = $3.39 (will send in for latest rebate as well)
Points didn't appear on card. Went to CS. Confirmed and added 10,000. At this time an employee brought up two Lysol toilet bowl cleaners and said she was buying them because they were $1.99 each and
5,000 pts. Hmmmmm.. Told CS I would pick up some too. She said just to come back to CS after to get points adjustment as they were having lots of issues with Lysol.
2 Lysol toilet @ $1.99 (5,000pts each)
2 All Purpose Cleaners @ $2.49 (5,000 pts each)
Total $10.48
CS added 20,000 pts
Couldn't resist. Went back for one more transaction.
2 @ $1.99
2 @ $2.49
2 @ $3.12
6 @ $3.49
Total $40.48 - $30 (30,000 pts redeemed)
OOP = $10.48
Called PC plus line. Got 10,000 added and a request sent for the other 50,000. Lady told me the deal was supposed to be spend $50 get 5,000 not for each product.
Todays total at RCSS
2 Lysol Hand Soap Dispensors
5 Lysol Refills
1 U by Kotex Tampons
10 Lysol Cleaners
6 Lysol Toilet Cleaners
OOP = $29.27
- $3.50 (Rebates Aps)
- $11.50 (Lysol MIR)
Plus
$10.00 PC GC (spend $30.00 get $10.00 GC)
45,000 Points worth $45.00
my new offers have been received, but sure not very exciting this week.
Best of the bunch is 1,000pts for Downy; next is 900pts for Schneiders Red Hots (same offer as two wks ago, and PM'd at $1.97, so not in need of any more for awhile).
My unused special olympic offers of last week remain, which is interesting. Best one is 2,000 WUS $10 on Pantene products... wife might use that one?
Everything else is mostly 200pts [$0.20] on items we never buy! *sigh*
