I had a points offer for magazines and newspapers over a week ago. Noticed my store now has brought back my magazine after a month's absence. Pity I could not shop before yesterday elsewhere so I missed the points offer. Have to see what staples have points this week on my card.
800pts per $4 spent on PC Frozen Fruit or 1000pts per $4 spent on PC Organic Frozen fruit. I am looking for frozen fruit this week, so either offer will be fine.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

I don't know what everybody thinks about this merger--but it will work better for me. I have over 110,000 optimum points--trouble spending them in my local store because they never had stock--the electronics section is nonexistent --no price matching! But, now, I can get groceries at No Frills. And only having to redeem $10 at a time works great for me--I live alone and not every shopping trip is more than $20. So yeh!
What does the smart canuck world think about this merger?

I just received the emails this morning. I had no idea this was in the works, although it makes sense in retrospect.
It looks like the conversion of the "old" Optimum Points scales according to the current redemption chart - so 8,000 points are worth $10 and 95,000 points are worth $170.
So I guess this means I need to get to 95K before February 1st or else I'll be leaving some value on the table.
