My $130.39 worth of donation to the Animal Shelter.

I am proud to say I have made my first donation to the local shelter. I got all these dog and cat foods for absolutely FREE.
Wal-Mart even had to pay me $5 something bucks due to coupon overages, so i added more food. I can't wait to donate some more!
It made me feel absolutely amazing knowing I am giving back.


Thanks to couponing and the knowledge this site provides me!
(If anyone can raok'ed me Dog/Cat food coupons, I would greatly appreciate it!)

A dog named Lucky just recently got hit & run, broke her jaw, her leg and her pelvis. She did very good in surgery and the shelter is in need of food and funding. I'm hoping to help out again.

***I didn't clear any shelves, i did multiple trips to WM & Metro.

why the need to clear the shelves?
what about people who actually own pets?

I was going to get some to feed my pets, now they will go hungry !

People who own pets, take an oath to take care of them and feed them; poor animals at the shelter don't have a choice, and shelters usually aren't funded and rely on donations.

If your pets are really going to go hungry because of someones generousity, please let us know, I am sure we can help them out too!!!

I called my local shelter, and they snotily replied "we cannot use that brand, we only use Royal Canine" (I think I may have posted this somewhere already, can't remember) didn't even say thanks for the offer or anything.

Yesterday, I had to go to our vet, which is in a small town about 20 mins away, so I called the shelter there, and they were more than happy to accept my donation, they are more of a cat shelter, so I will from now on, concentrate on getting food for the kitties.

It felt SO good to help out!!!!

I have a golden retriever whom only eats food from the vet. If i can help those who are in need, i will do it. I didn't clear out any shelves or the store.
These are from several shopping trips. So don't go assuming I cleared the shelves. You seem to judge quite fast.

Your pets will not go hungry, there are many stores to buy food from.
WM, Metro, FB, No Frills. need I say more? I WILL GIVE BACK TO THOSE IN NEED, These weren't the last bags of food in the world. They are trial sizes, meaning there are regular sized bags to buy as well. Chill out, lol. Your comment makes you sound very greedy.

WELL SAID - AS THANKS TO 4-5 OF US IN WPG, WE MANAGED TO DONATE 100 BAGS OF THE IAMS / PURINA ONE TO JEZZEEBELLE'S MISSION - WE DID NOT CLEAR ANY SHELVES AND THEY WERE BOUGHT AT $1.99 SO THEY WERE NOT COMPLETELY FREE AS WELL EVERY BAG WAS GOTTEN OVER THE 2 WK PERIOD THAT THESE COUPONS HAVE BEEN OUT FROM VARIOUS STORES AND OUT OF 3 OF THEM THERE IS STILL SOME TO BE HAD BY OTHERS. I can't donate to shelters, as the shelters around here are all sponsored by companies and can't accept anything else. BUT I do donate to friends/family and even my neighbors. I give bags of pet stuff to my homeschooling teacher every month. Plus, it's nice to have the security, as before we were at the cottage and had forgotten Sparky's food on the kitchen table. Then I realized I had brought up a couple trial purina's the weekend before.
