Yes, it wouldn't have been following the "policy" and the cpns should not have been accepted. Not knowing and doing it once is understandable ... but there are people doing this consistently and know the "policy". It is clearly stated. These same people are most likely the ones waving that "policy" in the cashier's face and following it word for word when they aren't getting their overage or anything else outlined that would be in their favor. The policy most likely stays tightly concealed when it comes to a competitor's cpn cause there are very few situations where cpns like this could be used (exceptions were some of the items in the Rexall cpn book from last week)

I picked up some Crest $1 off manufacturer's coupons from the Coupon Zone board of my local Loblaw's (expiring June 17). They say Manufacturer's Coupon on the front and they have full instruction for reimbursement to the retailer on the back. If that is the coupon you used, then it was fine. (Different from the Coupon Zone store coupons that have instructions to the cashier on how to ring the coupon in.)

Totally agree! If it said "manufacturer's cpn" on the top (taken off the RCSS coupon board) it is completely acceptable to use it at Walmart ---I beleive the store I use still has the Gillette ones up. If it says "coupon zone" and doesn't have the product and actual price, then no using at Walmart.

I spoke to the Manager at WM a week or so ago and she explained to me that they would basically accept anything with a bar code that wasn't expired! Their new policy is supposed to be much simpler than before. That was in Nova Scotia.
I specifically asked if Superstore "coupon zone" coupons were accepted and she said yes. I also noticed the have a wall of the coupon zone coupons at Save Easy. (Sackville, NB) YAY!
