Where do you donate?

hello local SCers!
I've been going through my closet and I have a huge pile of clothes I want to donate.
I also have soaps, shampoos and a bunch of other things for women.
I don't know where the best places to donate used items are and was looking for help!
Also, I have some food I'd like to donate.
I'd love to help out someone in need and not take it to places where people have to pay to take these items away. Can anyone recommend any places other than the goodwill?

i donate alot of my stuff to enselma house, for women and kids and the house of friendship on charles for the men, house of friendship will take food too
