Its just a small brag but I was happy with it.

I went to Jean Coutu tonight for the diapers that were on sale. I almost didn't get to use the coupons that I brought but they allowed me to use my Huggies coupons for pampers diapers this one last time(they used to accept them all the time, but recently changed their policy I guess).

    I got:

    4 pkgs of pamper 2/$25= $50-$14 in coupons- $36

    2 bottles of Sunlight laundry detergent $3.99= $7.98 - $2 in coupons- $5.98

1 stick of gillette deoderant $2.99 - $1.00 off coupon

Total retail price with tax= $64.90

    Total OOP= $47.90

Less than the price of the 4 packs of diapers before tax!!

I was so proud, unfortunately it will be the only time I get that deal in the store again for the diapers . I don't have any pampers coupons and thats all that my son can use, so I was happy that they let me have an exception this one time. The cashier didn't like it too much but oh well. I likely could get away with it again if I went to another cashier because the other CSM on the floor said it was ok and wasn't aware of the change in policy, but I won't push that button too far.

I also went to No Frills for the $2 sale got lots of stuff at decent prices and still had some coupons for items as well. I had enough that the cashier had to get an override on the till because I exceeded the coupon limit the cash would allow, lol.

I won't go into the details on that bill but a couple of highlights were:

Gerber graduates lil crunchies $2 each and I had a buy 2 get one free coupon so they were $1.33 each for the 3 cans. Also had the same deal for the Gerber Graduates toddler meal $2 each and a buy 2 get one free.

    Total retail price $103.86

    Total OOP $89.26

Not huge savings but enough to make me happy and I added the coupons amounts that I saved into my savings account.

Oh and I was a coupon fairy, there was a lady in the diaper section of No Frills that couldn't reach the pull ups and I helped her get them. They were not on sale and I had some coupons for them and gave them to her. She had mentioned that she had used all of hers when I mentioned that I had one, so I gave her all my coupons for those.

Always in need of those, lol. I was PM'd by Crazyhockeymom lastnight though and I accepted and offer from her for her pamper coupons as she said that she has lots. I don't want to clear out everyones pampers coupons.

If you truly aren't in need of them and don't have anyone to use them, I would take them. I don't have much to give back in return though, I am just starting out with coupons and don't have a big collection yet.
