Hey guys! My husband, myself and my 11 month old baby are going to be travelling to Nova Scotia for vacation.
We are camping just outside of Halifax for 4 nights, and in Pictou for 4 nights.
We go to Nova Scotia almost every year, but this is our first trip with a baby
Wondering if any of you have suggestions on things to do with a baby while we're down there? Any places that are really young child friendly?
Thanks for any ideas! This thread is currently associated with: N/A

Hi,
We actually just moved from Ontario to Nova Scotia in January. We love it here!
There are tons of things to do. I suggest hitting some of the beaches - its very relaxing and your little one will love it. We are North of Halifax - about 1 and 1/2 hours in an area Called Five Islands, if you google Five Islands Provincial Park you will be able to see some of the most beautiful pictures of the islands and beach.
In the small town of Great Village there are some awesome Antique Stores - I am not sure how patient your little one is but this is a wonderful opportunity to see a few things from the past at a quarter of the cost of Ontario (prices are beyond reasonable). In Halifax itself there is a childrens museum but she may be a little young. No matter what you do I am sure you will have a wonderful time. I hope this helps. I will post more if I think of it. Have fun!!
