Okay so I set out today for the 20x as I see many other SCer’s have. I knew I was going to spend more than normal but I had a lot to get and I was making a big purchase – Portable DVD for DD. Here is how it went (sorry no pics this time I rushed home to got right back out to the zoo):
I had a bit of drama before even starting as I had to call 6 different stores in town, Friday, to find one that had the DVD. The store that did is open 24hrs. This totally slipped my mind so, when I showed up at 7:45 thinking I was really early, the store was already busy.
I was able to get everything on my list despite my slip up about the opening hours, which I blame on a long week, lol. Anyways, this is what I got:
2x $100 GC for 2000pts
1x portable DVD $79.99 - Environmental fee for DVD - .40
4x Mr Noodles $1.39x4 = 5.56 (no coupons but was a special request for DH
2x Crest toothpaste 2x1.88 – 2x 0.75 = $2.26 (1000BP)
1x Imodium - $10.99 - $2 = $8.99
2x Lysol spray – 2 for $6 – 2x $1 = $4
1x Eggs - $3.29 (for special daddy’s day project!)
1x Pampers wipes - $5.49 (800 BP coupon)
Elastoplast Band-Aids - $2.99 - $1 = $1.99 - Sesame Street for DD
2x Delmote Juice - $3.98
2 x Cottonelle Wipes - $5.98 (500x2 BP)
Lysol No touch – 15.99 (MIR = Free)
2x Christie Crackers = $3.38
1x Royal Bathroom Tissue $3.99 - $1 = $2.99
1x Pampers Easy Ups - $13.99 – $3 = $10.99
2x Nestea = $7
4x Quo products including sponges, nail file and brushes (I had a hard time with this as I was trying to get $15 worth to use my BP coupon $15 = 2000pts, but all of it was on sale and I had to go back and get more
) In the end the total was $14.67 but the cashier still gave me the BP.
My final total was 189.94
Minus $10.50 in coupons (not great but it will have to do)
Plus 20.23 in taxes
= $199.67 – 15.99 MIR = 183. 68
Used my gift cards and have 0.33cents left.
Here is the better part:
Reg Points – 1890 + 2000 for GC = 3890
Product BP = 4800
20x Store BP = 35910
Total points for today’s shop 44600

I gained almost $85 in reg redemption dollars in todays shop meaning I basically got the DVD for free and only paid for my weeks groceries. Now I have 219722 approx $500 on Bonus redemption days.

I hope everyone’s day at SDM was a happy and successful!!! Cheers and happy shopping!

Great shopping. I did Shopper's today too. Not as many points as most of you but still did well buying groceries. I almost have enough for 2 full redemptions. Just 1 more x day and I should have it. Lots of days before Christmas though so I will be fine to wait.

It can happen fast. I just looked back and my points balance in January was 4500 (before joining SC). In under six months I have added 390000+ (already done 2 $200 redemptions). It can be very quick if you take advantage when SDM has bonus points and sales are on items you already would buy. The only thing I purchased more then normal was makeup when the CG 50x event was on and I was really overdue for makeup then anyways.

Nice job on the points, but I'm pretty sure the MIR for the lysol is up to $14.99 only, I have notice that SDM sometimes charge more so when they get the sales they have it on regular price according to other stores
