So I have been preparing for this trip for quite a while, and it has kept being put off (downside to not having your full licence) until finally today I went.
So in the end I only saved $16 but it is better then nothing. The walmart I went to, when I went looking for some of the deals with the tearpad coupons they werent there. I was so angry, because they were products I didnt have a coupon for and needed. Did this ever happen to anyone? What can I do about it?
Hopefully, Ill do better nextime, but its still a good start. After this mail strike is finally over I should have some more coupons and be able to do better.
Our total was over $600 before coupons, After coupons it was down to $592 - but we had to get ALOT of stuff that coupons werent available for.
I used coupons on
- Advil
- U by Kotex
- Dawn
- Bounty
- Iams
- Charmin
Also there was this lady while I was grabbing my Advil, I told my mom what one to get and what we would pay for it and the lady just stood there flabergasted, she had this look on her face, it was priceless. (:
So that was my shopping trip in a nutshell, thought I would share. Hopefully get better savings next time (:This thread is currently associated with: Walmart

Hi!! You did really good!!! Congrats!! Keep it up and you will see, your savings will increase with each shopping trip! I just started last month and am not an expert, but to answer your question; once you start your coupon collection and get a bit more, then you will be able to get those products you really need for a good price! I got some laundry detergent and razors for a good price once I got the coupons in the mail, and I really needed those items. So just wait for the strike to be over, and soon your mailbox will be full of coupons and you will save even more!!

Congrats on your first brag!
