I ventured to Walmart today with 2 purposes in mind:
PM RCSS for the $1 Gatorade - 950 ml size - couldn't rain check at RCSS because they DID still have some - just not the kind dh likes
and PM RCSS for the "You can call me RAY - or you can call me RAY J" (Where did I GET that quote?)" - Sweet Baby Rays BBQ Sauce - I DID get a rain check for 6 from RCSS but it's only good for 30 days and the last time I got a Rain Check they didn't have the product in during those 30 days.
Too bad - so sad - No Gatorade the right size and no Sweet Baby Rays. Could I have got Rain Checks which noted the coupons I would have used for the BBQ sauce???)
But I DID get 4 Glade 2 flavour candles on sale for $3.00 = $6.00 - 2XB1G1 coups = $6.00 for both + tax. This thread is currently associated with: Real Canadian Superstore RCSS, Walmart

Are you near a Metro? If so they have Sweet Baby Rays on for $2.00.

You could always ask them to renew the raincheck for another month if the product still hasn't come in before the last day of the raincheck. I have done this several times. This is as long as the raincheck you have are not expired.

beer!!
saluga's shtick as ray j. Johnson is to become annoyed when addressed as "mr. Johnson", exclaiming in a loud voice, "my name is raymond j. Johnson, jr. Now you can call me ray, or you can call me j, or you can call me johnny, or you can call me sonny, or you can call me junie, or you can call me junior; now you can call me ray j, or you can call me rj, or you can call me rjj, or you can call me rjj jr." ultimately ending with, "but you doesn't hasta call me johnson!"
the spiel got more widespread attention in the late 70s in a series of commercials for anheuser-busch natural light beer. Saluga appeared alongside comedian/pitchman norm crosby echoing (in a roundabout way) norm's advice to unknowing customers: "well, y'doesn't hasta call it anheuser busch natural light beer, and y'doesn't hasta call it 'busch natural.' just say 'natural!'" this before launching into the "you can call me ray" tirade at the mere mention of the word "name".
in 1979, raymond j. Johnson appeared in a tv commercial for a simon-like electronic game called einstein.[1] "you don't have to call it johnson! The game is einstein. Or you can call it ein, or you can call it stein..."
capitalizing on the relative fame of raymond j. Johnson, jr., in 1979, saluga, and evilan tom released a disco single called "dancin' johnson". The single reached #115 in the record world charts in a 15 week run.
saluga performed raymond j. Johnson, jr. On this is tom jones, the david steinberg show, sanford and son as well as redd foxx's eponymous variety show,[2] and later ontelevision commercials for anheuser-busch's natural light beer.

You can take a raincheck to Wal-mart and they will price match it too, as long as within the timeframe.

If you still have your coupons, the RCSS in Chatham has restocked. I was just in there tonight and got my 2 bottles. I didn't check down the condiment aisle, but there are a bunch at the BBQ...I lost my train of thought...BBQ thingy where they have mustard and relish set up. Between the bread section and the freezer section.
