I just picked up a basic 750ml bottle at Canadian Tire for about 9$ last week. Please note, though, it DOES have a plastic lid. I wanted it just until I find an idea bottle for me. The price was right to suit my needs for now. It is an ok bottle. A little hard to get used to as it is heavier than plastic and a bit odd to drink from...but that is just until I get used to it. And as always, you get what you pay for.
I have also seen some REALLY nice stainless bottles at my our large health food store. These bottle start at 30$ though and that is a bit steep for me right now...strange that my health has a price ticket to it. :-s

Bought a stainless bottle at zellers today for $13, 1 litre size.
THey have 500ml ones as well for about $8 i think.
They are silver, red or blue.
They have the plastic lid, which i don't like, but so do the kleen kanteen ones and those are expensive.
These will suffice for now.

I know this thread started a while back. I've been in search of stainless steels bottles in GTA area.
As long as the plastic caps are BPA free, it's supposed to be safe!

Pics Canada has discovered an innovative way to provide consumers with an alternative to disposable plastic water bottles.
These stainless steel water bottles are eco-friendly (reusable/recyclable), free of Bisphenol-A (BPA) and allow for the consumer to design and decorate their own bottle with photos, artwork, embroidery and more
For more information visit http://pics-canada.com.
