Chocolate Cheerios let down!

Wow, I am so surprised. My local Knechtals had them, quite a bit too, they are on sale this week and I actually had forgotten about my coupons till I was there today getting something else. So ran home and got the coupons(I had 2 of them). They had quite a bit still on the shelf. My kids were all very happy.
Sorry some of you missed out. I don't like the one day coupon either.

I think I just picked the right store for today. I had work all day so couldn't reach WM until 6 pm today...was super worried that the coupon would go to waste. As a walk in, to the left of me is a whole display of the Chocolate Cheerios AND the Fibre 1...I would say I was very lucky as I usually never go through this entrance. Sorry to those that missed out. I agree with everyone, I don't like the idea of a one-day coupon.

I saw a whole bunch stacked by the end of isle with a sign "new - chocolate cheerios" at LD. I didnt' want the chocolate ones so, I went to look for Fibre 1 but not the kind that was specified.

I dropped by Superstore and picked up 2 x Fibre 1. I had 3 coupons but somehow, I lost one and only ended up getting 2.. Choco cheerio shelf was empty and the cereal boxes around it was all pushed around - seems like people were looking for the choco cheerios everywhere..

Aww, I'm sorry guys =( It's such a let down. Maybe they will extend the offer? One can dream right. I got my free box at Metro in Brampton. They only had 2 on the shelves, but there was a whole stack load of them further into the store.

I was at Superstore this morning and they didn't have any. Then I went to SOF and they had TONS... all over in the entrance and in the cereal aisle.

I got my choc cheerios at SDM in Maple Ridge around 2:00, there was lots there. Then around 5:00 I went to SOF in Maple Ridge and got the fibre 1. I noticed SOF had tuns of the cheerios! Maybe we just had more out in BC?

I'm in BC, too, and we had lots in our stores. Though, I suspect population might have something to do with it, too. Bigger cities= more couponers= more cleared shelves. I think that every hard-core couponer in this city could get ten boxes and there would still be some left over.

Didn't get any either =( today with the free coupons but I did buy one on sale at no frills yesterday for the kids =)

it probably also hleps that out here in BC we have alot of couponers as we have 2 stacking stores. Seems the stores that stack like SOF and LD were prepared for the coupon coming out. Maybe they have a better idea of what coupons are out there? while other stores may not have even known this coupon existed?

Our Walmart had lots right at the front door and on sale too. The CSM who took my coupon laughed and said they didn't understand why it was 1 day only because it also had an expiry date of July 9th on the bottom and she would have been happy to accept it until the July 9th expiry date.
Maybe other stores would also still be willing to accept it until the expiry date printed on the bottom.

I'm in Calgary and I had no trouble at all, the shelves were stocked full and they had a big display at the back of the store. I am sorry to hear that you had so many problems.

From what I've read today, it seems to be mostly people in Ontario/Quebec who've had the worst luck and people in BC/Alberta who've had the best luck. At first I thought it was my imagination, but there definitely seems to be a trend appearing.

Had 3 coupons to use and couldn't get any! Drove to a handful of stores, which were all sold out. We decided to give up as it would just be a waste of gas, lol.

I think most stores are out because everyone had them on sale this week, if you look like 5 stores had then in the flyer. On top of that the coupons were used.
I know the girl at my walmart store said she had people all day coming in and using them but they also said they would take them until the 9th when they expire so for those that could not get it today maybe ask your store about using it later.

Sorry for your disappointment. If your near St. Albert AB there was loads in our stores!
