    At walmart i was told i have to pay the tax on a free item unless the coupon said tax included ? i have never seen or heard this ........... i know at sdm free is free ............

    Here in Alberta we have to pay tax on FPC unless states otherwise on coupon, even at SDM.

    I have never paid taxes on any fpc... dont let them charge you tax
