Yesterday I went with all my neatly organized coupons along with a list and went to use my coupons at LD and was told I could not stack them?? Does anyone know how to stack and use more than 1 coupon for 1 product?

I'm a newbie but heard that in Canada you can't stack coupons unless using one from the manufacture and one from the coupon boards at the store.

Oh no..... I just wanted to start stacking coupons at LD.

Hope someone can explain what's happening and why you couldn't stack.

it is best never to go to a cashier as they will say no as they don't know what to do or what is allowed you should always go to the CS desk, not sure if that was the problem but they definetly stack at LD as the blog on LD site says so,hope you have better luck in the future!

ME TOO !! I was so excited then soo let down. I did get great deals and saved 16.00 on the items I did buy. A great coupon to use is the buy 1 scrubbing bubbles and get fantastik freee as scrubbing bubbles is cheaper right now on sale.

Maybe that it is the trick, to use the instore coupon and 1 manufacturer. The coupons I tried to use were the P&G ones and I thought I could use them together there.

you are not aloud to stack any of the p&g anymore since they changed the wording. There still a few coupons out there that you can.

Thank yuo GLENGLEN and the rest of you for your comments. I understand now!! I went to the LD site and read over the blog for coupons!! I really appreciate it and hopefully will be able to figure out what coupons I can stack soon. So far I have been able to get great deals on sale items with my coupons from a few different coupons sources. My family and I really appreciate it.

you can at LD!! The CS desk in my LD has some great staff you are helpful.. They check them and advise if something is amiss.

I stacked the PG coupons. eg. 2 Old Spice deo used the $3.00 off PG coupon and 2 x $1.00 off PG coupons.

You are not SUPPOSED TO stack the P&G coupons any more...now that they say "use of more than one manufacturer coupon is strictly prohibited" LD's position is that they will not accept them for stacking. The manufacturer won't reimburse them for those coupons. P&G doesn't want us to be able to stack and get their products free. If you have older P&G coupons which do not have that wording then you would be able to stack those. But the coupons from the latest insert and online are no-no's.

Other coupons can be stacked as long as they don't have language similar to the new P&G ones, or language like "cannot be combined with another COUPON offer" - the word coupon has to be in there. Otherwise you can stack them.

Best bet is to check with your LD about any store-specific rules, like limits on # of items you can purchase, etc.

You should be able to stack as long as the coupons have different UPCs and you aren't using any from P&G that have the prohibiting wording. I dont think they take printables over $3.00.

I went yesterday and got some more Dove products, paid just the taxes after stacking.

I went to LD today and got up to the customer service desk and spoke with one of the supervisors (who is a coupon stacker herself). Apparently they no longer allow stacking with coupons stating "cannot be combined with any other offer" - doesn't even have to say "COUPON offer". Said they started this policy about a month ago; doesn't sound like it's the same for all LDs though.

Had to let go of the Dove since all the coupons stated "may not be combined with any other offers" -sad-

No wonder I haven't attempted stacking! I don't understand why coupon policies vary so greatly with the same chain.

read the coupons...."cannot combine with any other coupon" means no you cant stack them . Best thing to do is take a minute to go to the cs desk when you walk in and hand them the coupon stacks and ask if you can use them together . At lease that way you wont have a bunch of stuff that needs to go back and you will also learn what you can use and what you cant. Most of the time they will let you stack as long as they are from different sources (different bar code) and they are not restriced in the wording saying you cant use any other coupons with it. Just have to read them . when in doubt talk to the cs at the counter they are the best to explain it. Its a bit confusing at first but always best to ask.

    happy shopping

I just got back from LD's. I was told by one of their staff people on my first visit that you can buy as many as you want if it is an instore sale (not true!) and the liimit was 2 if you were PM (True!)

I did "monkey see, monkey do" from the brag section and had lots of Dove and OFF! products in my cart. When I got to the register they said that they will be enforcing the 2 item limit here at the Wpg store cause it is getting out of hand. This means 2 of any product (line) ie. 2 Dove products, 2 OFF products (instore or PM) - doesn't matter. I travel 2 hours to get there and back so they let me do it this time but said not in the future. It was very apparent that someone had been there earlier this morning cause they cleared the shelves of Dove deodrant, soap, body wash and spritz! A floor staff person said they had just been stocked.

Cpns can be stacked as long as it is the right item, UPC's are different and it isn't expired. I had no trouble at all, just that I had WAY to MUCH according to their limits. Won't be doing that again!
