Good seeing you this morning again, Julia! Thanks for dropping by.
Hoping DH is in the mood after work to drive me to PammieD's place to drop off some boxes of Mother Hen baby food for Alexa :) Thanks for giving me my freezer space back!
Howdy Ladies,
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! I'm couponing all day. Yippie. Next week is a looooooong weekend and I am going to spend it doing nothing with my hubby. We are thinking a horror movie marathon.
We went to Walmart yesterday and I got a whole crap load of Herbal Essence Hairspray for .47/bottle. Anyone who has traded me peelies..... **MUAH**. I think people might think I drink the stuff judging by the amount in our stockpile. HA HA HA!
Oh, CHERIE-- I also bought you a surprise bp--so you should start another small & simple vwt :) **subtle hint**
And... I might just start a VWT today..... **thinking**
Now, to tell you all my funny work story. As most of you know, I spent 6 years as a medical office assistant. Now, I work for a local power transmission company. So, you can tell its been a huge learning curve for me. Here was the conversation I had during recent safety training:
Trainer: Now, this doesn't apply to the ladies in the room, but these guys have to go for chainsaw safety training.
Male: Understood, we will learn how to cut limbs?!?
Trainer: Yes, in case a limb gets stuck on the lines.
Me: PARDON?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!?!!?!?!?!?!?!
Male: If a limb gets stuck on the line, we have to use a chainsaw to get free.
Me: **in a very dramatic voice** There has got to be a better way!!!!
Trainer: Leslie, its okay, we only touch the trees we have too.
Me: TREES?!?!?!? What are you talking about. You just said they have to cut LIMBS off!
Males in the room: **LAUGHTER**
Trainer: Leslie, we call branches of trees: limbs.
Me: Well, I feel better knowing that I don't work for a company that uses chainsaws on their employees.
Trainer: You have taught me something today...
Me: **facepalm**
But seriously... In my head... LIMBS are LEGS & ARMS & SUCH. NOT Branches.
And yes, I am still employed. ;)
:lolsign:
haha, thanks Pumpkin you made my day :) It is tradition for a "Pumpkin's most embarrassing moments" story in each train :)
I just got back from lunch with Suzanne!! Was super awesome to see her again and I surprised her with her package!
I like these nails :) teach me how to do this!!

Easy but a steady hand. Base coat then dots with a dotter in a couple sizes and colours. So 4 colours and 3 sizes of dotters. I'm still practising with dots, I'm not very patient :)
bought my buddies first gift today and let's just say there was a melt down in Future Shop with both my kids just for this one thing!
Dotter and lots of drying time...
I'm getting really excited to receive my package....oh buddy, who are you?!?! ;)
So, Jackson has officially done two nights sleeping in his big boy bed now with no problems, so proud of him. It still amazes me how good of a kid he really is.
Sleeping for me on the otherhand isn't going so well these days......getting uncomfortable....toss n turn a lot thru the night or have to go to the bathroom a million times a night. *sigh* ah well.....couple more weeks to go!
