I am attempting the commute in today, starting out early!
SLLLOOOWWWW took 20 mins to get to Aldershot on train (reg 13-15) but at least its just reduced speeds and not shuttle buses
Good Luck with that ;) I love that I live in an area where any commute over 30 minutes is considered ludicrous. My commute including a Tims run is about 15 minutes. haha, just googled it:

Slammy's commute is even shorter!!
Willow is being a bum this morning, But damn she is so cute.
Just want to toot Slammy's horn this morning!

I could work much closer to home but most days I like my job, I can work from home a lot and the pay would be worse. I can deal with commuting if its not every day
Morning ladies! My commute is longer than 15 minutes, but part of it is dropping kiddo off at daycare. It takes us about 15 minutes to get to daycare then a 10 minute drive and 5-10 minute walk from where I park.
Looks like it's going to rain here today and I am hoping it does, the weather is so thick, crazy! Hopefully we don't get the downpour some of you have had. I don't want flooding!
Jackson cried this morning because he couldn't open a present, so he still needs to learn a little more patience. He actually woke up at 5am crying and asking if it had been 6 sleeps yet. He tends to process things while he sleeps, and will often wake up saying or doing things that are odd. The other night he woke up telling me Riley (the dog) was talking to him. He didn't know what he was saying. But when I asked again in the morning he said Riley said "Jackson you hurt me!" which is probably related to me freaking out on him when he hit Riley in the head with a plastic hammer, hard enough to hear a crack and have the dog run upstairs.
Any way! Happy Wednesday, week is half over, sort of.
Good Morning Everyone,
I am trying to keep telling myself it is Wednesday and the week is half over, wow it has been a long one which will only seem longer as I am convinced today is really Thursday. Guess I just really need this week to be over. I do not know about everyone else in the GTA area but I am so ready for this heat wave to break. I cannot handle heat well and only having AC in my room is getting to me. Between the heat and stress my stomach has been messed up since the weekend.
I do not think I would be good as a commuter especially since until a couple years ago I did not like driving long distances and hated traffic. But thanks to our sales manager I was cured of that when I ended up driving through Chicago in Rush Hour traffic , it was fun. But I still do not think I could do a long commute everyday, right now my commute is 10 to 15 minutes depending on other drivers on the highway. A few months ago I was working out of another location 2 days a week so than my commute was 30 to 45 minutes, I did not mind the drive but do not think I could do it everyday.
I have central air this year, finally, and have no idea how I did it with a window a/c only in my room! I'm not sure when it's going to break, I think tomorrow is supposed to be a little cooler here any way, and then ramp back up for the weekend, but of course it will still be humid. Good luck!
Willow is calling nap time - I'm calling it too.... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
