Wow,i have been reading through the thread to see what i missed and i have to say,you ladies are amazing for sharing your stories of depression, its a very difficult thing to do yet talking seems to be the best way to deal with it.
My mom has dealt with depression for as long as i can remember and although she finally started getting help a few years ago as she gets older she seems to be regressing,i wish there was more i could do to help her but she wont talk about it and always seems so ashamed of being depressed whenever i bring it up,i have told her about my own issues with anxiety attacks and it seems to help a little but she still won't talk about herself,my dad is amazing with her,he is so loving and patient even after 45 years together,he will do anything for her.I am so thankful that she has my dad as he seems to be the only one that she feels she can depend on and open up to.
My brother also suffers from bi-polar,damn genitics,he was finally diagnosed about 15 years ago after attempting suicide a couple of times. He had seen several doctors before that but it took something this drastic before he was admitted to a hospital and finally got the correct treatment. He still has episodes occassionly but overall he is doing great.
Also my DH suffered from clinical depression a few years ago and it was a long hard road before he got the treatment he needed,he always felt so ashamed and didn't even take the meds he was prescribed at first as men shouldn't need drugs or help with depression according to him but once he began taking them they really helped and he is great now.
So ladies i applaud you all for speaking up as i have seen the effects of trying to deal with things alone,it doesn't work,we all need a shoulder at times and we all need someone to support and encourage us.Stay strong it will get better.

OK buddy.. I have a major problem.

I wanted to start your coupon bag today, But I found that when I stored my fabric (put it up in the cupboard so my dog wouldn't rip it, or the kids get it.. Well I din';t realized that my bleach bottle was leaking and because it sat in a few days it ate a hole right through it! I cried seriously. I was so excited cause I found this super cute fabric in your favorite colour online, and paid extra to have it shipped faster. Now that seller is out of that fabric, and if I ordser anything else it wont get here until the first week of july

Would you happen to want a pre-made coupon bag? I have one left, its brown and pink. I understand if you dont, I feel terrible
If it would be ok, how many dividers would you like? Im not sure how everyone separates their binders or bags but I like mine in alphabetical order, and use about 20 dividers (yes lots but its the easiest way for me)Last edited by cherielake; Sat, Jun 15th, 2013 at 10:36 PM. Reason: spelling

well I primed the new drywall in my kitchen today but then figured I may as well prime everything since the kitchen walls are going to be repainted also...just about finished....Klepto painted almost all of 1 side of the fence...ran out of paint
I didn't get any shopping done as I then went out to my moms...klepto took apart some shelves for her and I helped her list the values of items damaged cause her sump pump went and the insurance/restoration company made a pile of stuff they couldn't fix...then came back to the city...grabbed some take out came home and headed to bed...so here I am
I plan to do some shopping tomorrow since I have to go buy paint...

Hello folks! Wasn't feeling that well yesterday after conquering shoppers and running some errands and taking my kids father's day shopping. Got my hubby and dad some nice shirts from Tip Top Tailors and my DS finally was looking at their coloured shirts and ties for his Prom on the 26th! He didn't buy anything but just looking. I was trying to convince him to get the purple / lilac colour but he said he's not a girl LOL!! He was interested in RED... sheesh. I fell asleep at 7:30 believe it or not and just woke up so I thought I would catch up. I see many of you were enjoying the weather as well as we didn't have many posts...LOL.
Since I'm up I'm going to mix my pancake recipe up and put it in the fridge for hubby's monster breakfast tomorrow morning. Saw my coupon for the Johnsonville sausages (he LOVESSSS the maple breakfast sausage) so I'm heading out early in the morning to get that for him.
BUDDY - I'm not sure if I said this before, but please do not stress out about my homemade gift. I am appreciative to be riding my second train and will absolutely LOVE whatever you make for me because it came from YOU.
Cherie, if you are my buddy, I would love the pink and brown coupon bag...with as many dividers as you can spare -and yes, I have experienced the wrath of bleach. Not fun.
SLAM - That is one amazing yummy looking cake! Slam and Son!
I have never seen your cakes, but judging from Trent's talent, your cakes must be pretty darn awesome! If you have any pics to share when you have time, I would LOVE to see some of them.
Ohhh....almost forgot, buddy I got you 6 more prezzies...my bedroom looks like Christmas threw up...lol! (My hubby still hasn't asked what's up with all the Christmas stuff - I guess he just accepts my weirdness)

thank to everyone who has shared. your vulnerability and openness brought tears to my eyes. even though I was dead tired today after a very long past few days, I just had to catch up and read each and every one of your hearts...
I too struggled with depression...I think bluz must be right, some of us seem like sisters. "a brother from another mother". =)
thank you cherie. depression is something that is near and dear to my heart too.
DITTO. I feel like some of you are telling parts of my story too!
couldn't agree more!
would love bacon jam!! =)
I would be happy with anything. I don't think you are my buddy as I answered the coupon binder question but again, would be happy with anything you make!!
