What a whirlwind weekend here
I sold my envoy so the hunt was on for a new vehicle.... I bought a new Ford truck and get to pick it up today

Then I had to pack and get hubby ready to fly to Victoria for a week long managers meeting, he hates flying( he has watched to many movies about plane crashes) and he hates having to sit in boardrooms.

Then it was slaving over the stove yesterday making my DH and my dads favorite dishes.

Buddy I am done my shopping and just waiting for orders to come in the mail, the the game of prezzie Tetris will start :D

I am ok with ANY and all chocolate, homemade goodies, and canning. I am a rather easy person to please.

Morning Ladies! Had a nice day yesterday! Just spent the morning relaxing at home, then off to my, parents where we spent the afternoon relaxing in their backyard then a nice BBQ dinner! Was planning on taking the munchkin to the park today but it looks like it might rain today I'm finished shopping but have yet to wrap everything. Maybe today if it rains. Then I be mailing closer to the end of mail week as my buddy doesn't live too far from me

To answer my own question...edible bubble wrap is good no I don't like Tolberone or Merci Chocolates

Merci - never had but if its milk chocolate I'm in

Were we supposed to number each one? I did but if not, plz ignore the numbers buddy. I had to wrap and hide each one under the bed from DD who was trying to rip them back open. So I kinda forgot which was which by the time I started to number them.

I numbered mine, well the kid ones since I haven't wrapped the adult ones yet.

Happy Monday. Right??? We had a big storm last night, I knew it was coming when the dog came running downstairs to sit right beside me shaking, well before I could hear the thunder. Didn't wake the kid up thankfully. All gone this morning, though I think it's still a bit humid. Wondering when summer is coming though, long range forecast is still only up to 28 one day, the rest in the low-mid 20's. I hope it is nice for the July long weekend, we'll be at my parent's and Jackson is super excited to go to the beach.

Still waiting on 2 or 3 packages to arrive and then I"ll be all set, guess it's a good thing we still have some time

Im kind of likely that the weather isn't super hot this year. I live in an apartment & we roast every year. I haven't even had to put the air conditioning in yet! Humidity gives me no energy but DD doesn't seem to lose energy in it, sigh. If it stayed a nice 24-26C all summer with no humidity I'd be happy!

Thanks ladies! It was a great weekend. Everyone had a fantastic time. The whole weekend was a bit hampered for Don though because of his dad/stepmom. He has decided that we won't be seeing or speaking with them for a long time. Their loss, and we're both on the same page that they've made their decisions through their actions. It's too bad though because they will be missing out on their grandchildrens lives. Anywho....

Certain little details that I really wanted for my wedding came to fruition and I couldnt be happier. The treats table was a hit. The flowers were AMAZING! Ummmm yah. Lots of great fun stuff and great moments. I'll definitely post pics over the next few days (gotta contribute to the wedding pics from last week! )
