The chocolate Cheerios one day was during the week. I got one on my way to work only to have my co worker say there wasn't any when she went in. I told her they weren't out on the shelf and that I had to ask for it. I then went to the store for her.

I live in a small town and we are sooo behind on new products. I hope these will be available. That peanut butter Cheerios one day redemption was chaos. I'm glad the company dealt with the problem.

I wonder why companies are still doing these one day promos, even though there's always so many problems with items not being available yet at stores (peanut butter Cheerios cost the company a lot of money, I bet, to send out replacement FPCs).

I'm guessing the potential payoff is having everyone's carts full of the product, so others can start wondering what the fuss is about and pick up the product themselves?
