THE DETAILS
I have 8 envelopes stuffed with an assortment of great food and beverage coupons, expiring July 25 or later. The value of each one is over $60, and the only duplicates are for popular items like pasta.
This is a FOOD ONLY train. If you wouldn't eat it or drink it, it doesn't go in the envie.
This is an EXPRESS train -- I will be taking just 3 riders per car. Less time to wait for the train to get to you and lots of "good stuff" still in the envie when it reaches you!
Boarding pass is 2 coupons or equivalent items from my wishlist (posted in the thread below). Or you can send 2 unused p-stamps.
I will take as many riders as want to join, but you MUST have a minimum trade rating of 20 and no negative ratings.
I will add additional cars if needed.
And now for THE RULES :icon_study:
1. To Join:
- PM me your address.
- Post in the thread "I have read these rules and agree to abide by them. I acknowledge that the conductor is not responsible for late, damaged, or lost envies."
- Your seat is not confirmed until I have received your address and you have posted in the thread.
Once we have enough riders I will announce the mailout and post the rider lists for each car.
2. What coupons are acceptable for this train:
- What Can Go in the Envie?
- Coupons for anything you would EAT or DRINK, that you could expect to find at a regular grocery store.
- Tearpads, Inserts, call-ins, and other manufacturer coupons are all are OK
- What CAN'T Go in the Envie:
- NO coupons for anything that isn't food or beverage
- NO coupons for anything that you wouldn't find in an average grocery store (in other words, no coupons for products you would ordinarily have to visit a health-food store or other specialty shop to find. This applies to fast food/restaurant coupons as well.)
- NO more than 2 of any coupon - Exception: you may put in ONE additional coupon for the same item ONLY if it is a different expiry.
- NO EXPIRIES before July 31
- NO Printables (It's easy for most people to get these on their own, and we don't want to weigh down the envies with these).
- NO Store Specific coupons
- NO French
- NO Baby or Pet related coupons (this includes "baby" yogurt and the like).
2. When you receive the train:
- Remove as many coupons as you would like to keep, and replace them with the same amount/value. In other words: replace $ for $, B1G1 with B1G1, etc.
- Be Generous to the next rider! Don't just offload all the crap in your binder. Add coupons that you would appreciate receiving yourself. Even better - check out their most recent wishlist and send some of the coupons they've listed, if possible. (And make sure your own wishlist is up to date!)
- Place your boarding pass in the small envie included in the train.
- Record BP and in/out amounts on the sheet included in the train.
- Leave feedback for both me and for the rider who mailed the train to you.
- Mail out within 24 hours of receiving.
- Post in the thread when you received the train, amounts in and out, and when you mailed it on to the next rider.
