Smartphone Price Matching at Walmart?

Hello, I was told at my local Walmart that I could not use my smartphone to show the paper flyers on my smartphone but I hear some people do all the time without any hassle plus in their Price matching policy says nothing about the AD being in paper form as long as it's not Internet pricing which it is not.

I did submit a request to Walmart HQ for their official standing on it so I have some backing if the store does not let me do it. So have any of you done it without a problem?

it is I believe up to the management of the store to not accept the electronic version. That is what I have been told in the past

They didn't let me do it earlier this week at Canadian tire to price match SDM for greenworks 1.99 sale. I had the Flyer but the product didnt show so I asked if I showed it online can u PM it. They said no

I have pm'd numeroua times withy smartphone. I went to cs desk and showed them the flyer they approved it beforehand. Then at cash the cashier had to call the csm and ask. But it has worked. I believe in their policy it states that you so not need the physical flyer to pm.

I could be wrong on that but im certain ive read it in there. Lol.

i have pmed a few times with my i phone.. @ walmart
but i tried again and was told no i could not do that again..
that their policy didnt state that we can use a smartphone to pricematch..
sooo what i just do is print out the page .. and that works fine

Update: The manger called and told me that it is perfectly fine to PM using a smartphone or print out of a flyer as long as it is within the province.

within the province?, I was told they will only pm with stores in the nearby area....mostly mean within the city or town....

Well the example he gave said as Long as it's not across the country or something. I asked him about a store about 1 hour away and he said it would be fine to price match.

Nice! I live in a small town 45 minutes from Ottawa. We aren't allowed to PM flyers from Ottawa, but we can price match any flyers that come in our local paper. I can and have used (ree bee), as long as the cashier can see the price, size/flavour (if applicable) and date in the app. If you can't connect to wifi in-store, take a screen shot of your items before you go in.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell me how to do this. I was just coming here to ask because I don't have wifi when away from home and sometimes the screens that I have pre-set go into the "no internet connection" screen and it makes me so

lol great to hear! In case others are wondering, I only know for sure how to do this on the iPhone: push the home button and sleep button simultaneously.

Has anyone been successful in price matching at Walmart with their app?

I am wondering specifically about Waterdown Walmart and Ancaster Walmart?

I have some shopping to do tomorrow and would rather just take my iphone with me to show the flyers rather than 4or 5 different flyers.
