Thanks, I think we decided to get ourselves a new one and give her ours
I wanted a bigger freezer anyway and wisebuy have a sale on that means a big new one would only be a bit more than a used one.

Try Kijiji. I see them on there for free all the time in the Hamilton city section.

I did but she was worried about buying from an individual and getting something that doesn't work and not having any recourse (I didn't see any for free but lots for $100-150 which would be fine)
We did end up getting a new one ourselves, $700 marked down to $350 and bigger than the one we currently have so I can stuff more stuff in it lol. Its a bit of a pain since we are moving next week so dragged it here and have to move it again but at the same time, it gave me a kick in the butt to sort the contents of the fridge

Try The Appliance Doctor - on the west mountain.
He sells used appliances, and offers a 2 year guarantee.
We use them all the time for our rental properties.
Can't beat the prices.
Never met a dog or coupon I didn't like.

If you or your relative ever want to go fancy on fridges, visit Goeman's Appliances on Queenston Rd, near Lake Ave. Store has a sale ending this weekend.
Not too far away, Barton St. E. at Nash Rd. N.-Habitat for Humanity ReStore might have appliances from 5 year old or newer homes in stock.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.

Thanks FallenPixels. Never heard of them, but I will be in the market for a new range shortly. I'll check Wisebuys out. I've already signed up for their email updates.
