Hi Ladies!! I just did my first Dollarama coupon shop! I went to the one on Southdale at Wonderland. I had asked someone in the aisles if they took coupons and they said no - but I still had a peek around. I then asked at the checkout and the cashier said yes! WooHoo! So - this was my first shop:
Vileda Scrunge $1 - $1 coupon (SS I believe)
2 French's Mustards $1.25 each - $1.50 WUB2 coupon (brandsaver or p&g) = 0.50 each (best price I have found - and they are the big size too I believe)
$2 Covergirl Clean Makeup Foundation - $2 coupon from some insert = FREE
I also grabbed some bandaids - though no coupies for it.
Total was $2.52! And the experience was AWESOME. Cashier had to call up the manager because she hadn't done coupons before, the manager just simply scanned everything through and then deducted the coupon total. Completely painless!! I also noticed they had:
St Ives (tiny size) $1
Sunlight and Palmolive and Dawn = $1-$2 depending on size
Colgate $1
Crest, Aquafresh, and different Colgate $1.25 - $2 depending on type, size, etc.
Chef Boyardee
Hunt's tomatoes/Sauces
TONS AND TONS!
Happy Shopping

Yup, and there were tons. I have picked some up at the Dollarama Argyle and Whiteoaks. On another note, I think maybe next time I may join in the "soupon club", it sounds like you guys had a blast.

I spoke with the supervisor at the White Oaks Dollarama today, wanting to be sure I was clear on their policy before doing my shopping. She told me that I was allowed only 1 coupon "per transaction" - in other words, for each visit to the store I could use a grand total of one coupon. She also said that they had problems the previous day with cashiers accepting multiple coupons.
I found that very strange to have as a policy and rather than arguing about it just let it be and figured they were just in their learning stages.
I then went to the store at the Wellington Southdale Plaza and the person there told me they would accept coupons as you would normally expect (one per item for as many as you had so long as they were the right items, manufacturer coupons, etc.).
So, at least I'm glad i confirmed that it's not as crazy as the first supervisor told me, but I have emailed their head office for clarification so that I can take the answer in with me and "educate" the one store.

I still have yet to find deals with my coupons as I seem to go at the wrong time when stuff is out of stock!
