Bargain with the kids = good deals !!!

Well since it was hot & sunny earlier today, my kids has been begging me to bring them to the park. After so much fun at the park they wanted to stop by at the convenient store for some snacks. They have picked some chips 2x2.50 and drinks 2x1.89 to purchase plus the tax could have been close to $10.00 (good thing that the owner was busy) I did a little bit of convincing for them to walk a block with me heading to ExtraFood for a better deal.
I had $20.00 with me to spent which I dared myself to stretch to purchase some stuff, a little mathematics was needed but it did work with the NO TAX day !!!

1x2.98 Lagrille Marina = 2.98 - $3.00 WUB2 Ziploc= FREE
1x3.99 SILK chocolate = 3.99 - .75 = 3.24
1x1.98 DOLE Salad MIx = 1.98 - .75 = 1.23
1x1.25 OASIS juice = 1.25 - .50 = .75

Total : $18.47 instead of $30.00

Got my girls convinced that the stuff I purchased is much healthier than the ones they chose for 10.00 I could have only bought 4 items and they were happy, satisfied with their STIX and juice drink my money was worth spending... $20.00 stretched to 13 items.. not bad for my day !!!
