Thread: Sackville Superstore
-
Mon, Jun 27th, 2011, 07:24 PM #1
Just got home from the Sackville Superstore and noticed that they are having a tax free day tomorrow June 28th on everything! Just thought I would pass it along. Not sure it it's all of them or just that one.

This was posted in the NB thread too. I'll have to check out the Joseph Howe or Bayers Lake locations!

We went to Superstore this evening because we were looking for a gazebo for our deck (our patio umbrella gave it up last year).
We found one for $179, marked down from $299. And no tax! yahoo!
Got outside and called for a taxi (we do not own a car). We needed one that is a van, since the box was about seven feet long. They told me that it was an extra $7 for the van, that they would not move the seats, they could only take us if the thing fit in the cargo area, but they couldn't tell me if my item would fit.
We waited about ten minutes, then saw a bus coming. Asked the driver if it were OK for us to bring it on, he said OK. So we got home for free too!

I wanted to go as I saw a neat tea brewing station for $25. However, I'm sitting here with food poisoning....I'm not moving far from my sofa at this point.
