Grocery & Personal Care budget for 2 adults, one cat & one dog is $330 per month.
This includes food AND paper products, cleaning supplies, toiletries, cat & dog food, kitty litter, ziploc bags, haircuts etc etc

We spend about $300 a month for the two of us (he eats for 2 though) - that includes household/toiletries and then probably close to $100 extra on the cats for food, water filters and litter

Our grocery budget is around $150.00 a week. We're a family of 5. two adults, 1yr old, 3yr old n 7yr old. We're working on getting it down to $100.00 , but It's difficult with their milk being $4.29 a carton (So Good) But for now we will keep trying.

I haven't been diligently couponing the last little bit, but we normally spend $125/week with 2 kids (one in diapers), myself and my husband (who I swear eats for 2). This includes toiletries/baby food/diapers/etc.

There are four of us - two adults, two kids (5 and 3) with different dietary needs. 5 year old has ASD with severe sensory issues, so food is a tricky one and can get expensive. 3 year old has VERY tough restrictions - no dairy, nuts, gluten, wheat, artificial colors/flavors, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, pork, white flour ... I know there's more, but I'm having a hard time remembering (too lazy to pull out the list). So clearly, shopping for her is expensive and time consuming.
However...
Our grocery budget used to be about $1800/month (and that was cheaping out). I've taken a lot of time to develop 'relationships' (for lack of a better word) with companies that make products that she can consume, and they're sending A LOT of freebies and coupons on weekly-monthly basis depending on the company. The last few months, we're averaging about $400/month, tops.
We also found a produce store in our neighborhood that has AMAZING prices. We haven't spent more than $20 on a week's worth of produce for the four of us.

Wow... I feel like a total snob. I spend $200 a week for my hubby and I and that's down from $250. We don't eat meat and I purchase primarily organic produce. We also avoid all chemical cleaners, soaps, etc. that don't go on sale and there are limited coupons available so that adds things up quite quickly. Farmers markets in Calgary aren't cheap because they're trendy you tend to be gouged because it's "local". Any canned beans, sauces etc. that I purchase are low sodium and have limited numbers of ingredients and it seems to be that the fewer the ingredients, the higher the cost. I make a lot at home, but often my ability to bake and cook depends on how busy I am at work. I know I can bring the bill down even lower, however, I just don't know if I have the time.

For my house 2 Adults, 2 Kids, 2 Cats & 2 Dogs we average $500.00/month for groceries including personal items and pet stuff. For hockey season we add on 2 Teenage Hockey billetts and we are closer to $800-$1000 a month

Two adults (me & BF) & our 2 pups! with couponing & the Facebook FPC's etc we are down to $100 per week or less! Doing the MIR's really helps & also the SDM bonus redemptions for free groceries etc...We have a nice stockpile & pantry is full...the last couple weeks just had to get the basics, milk, bread, fruit & veggies!!
I also pick up stuff for my DS (24yrs) who lives out of town & stuff for mom as well!

I have a family of 3 and I alot for $2/meal/person. I just uped that in the past year from $1/meal/person. That works out to $126 / week so approx $500/month. That is just the budget though. The fact is I generally do 1 big shop in the month that comes out to between $80-$200 and then I spend about $10-$30/week on parishables, I do a stockpiling shopping from time to time and about once or twice a year I will kick down a few hundred for butchered cow and/or pig. I include my dog's food, personal care items, our dining out, and baby care items. So the reality is that that I generally spend about $150-$300 (but it's usually on the lower side).
