Women’s ability to access EI, and their understanding of, and relationship to the process

Are you living on Employment Insurance (EI) or are you having difficulties with EI?
If so, I am interested in hearing about your experiences
You are invited to participate if:
1) You live in the Greater Toronto Region/ Greater Halifax Region
2) You are unemployed or underemployed
3) You are a woman between ages 25-40
4) You are caring for dependents including: children, parents, siblings or grandparents
Your participation involves:
1) 1 to 1.5 hour confidential interview with a researcher

Just in case anyone was interested but was concerned about the time length. I have conducted a few by now and they take on average 30 minutes to just over an hour. Contact me if you have any further questions

Can one participate If they live about 100km from the city? I lived there a year ago though, same life circumstances.
Do you need to be on or eligible to receive EI?
Is there an incentive for participating?

I am currently on EI until July of next year for maternity leave if that counts towards what you are looking for I am available anytime and live right in Halifax
