How to ask for thread to be deleted

Hi, I wanted to ask for a thread to be deleted, and when I searched how, there were a couple posts that said to click the report post icon and ask there, but when you click on it, it says: "Note: This is ONLY to be used to report spam, advertising messages, and problematic (harassment, fighting, or rude) posts. "

So now I am unsure of how to ask

the report button will send a message to the mods as long as you want it deleted for good reason, its easier than PMing one or all of them since the report can be taken care of by any of the mods
