I am sickened and disgusted. I can't say much more. I'm so choked up right now.

I saw it on Facebook today. Not surprised.

For anyone interested in seeing how your food is processed I suggest the film Earthlings. You can watch the whole thing online.

    So sad....

DiGiorno will no longer be using that supplier, and the cheese supplier will no longer use that farm.

No, I'm fairly sure they are really not.

Watch the move Earthlings, about factory farming. Even people who pretend to be ethical farmers, kosher , all the same.

If people are going to consume meat and dairy in the huge quantities that they do then it's only natural that farms get bigger and bigger.

These types of videos have been around for years the only difference now is that there are more farms like this. It's the future of meat farming.

My family is going meatless. I've been researching all kinds of things and I realize 90% of companies either abuse animals or use them in horrifying experiments. I cannot condone this type of behavior. It sickens me.

DH worked 5 years at a chicken barn. They were fed something to make them lay more eggs. When new chickens were brought into the barns, they were stuffed in cages sometimes with their legs caught in the cage doors. The workers first every day was to remove all the dead birds from the cages.
This is one reason why I won`t buy eggs in a store. We get them from a local farmer.

There is always the option of exploring local farms that do things on a smaller scale, with humane practices in mind.

Or are they tainted as well?

Most of the local farms in my area have beautiful looking livestock. My brother has a little farm just for family and his animals are well looked after but this year he had to cut the farm down in size for work. If at all, I will start getting food from him or a local farm.

In the USA last year, they killed 60,000-70,000 dogs in needless experiments. I couldn't believe the stats. If any of you are wondering, there are quite a few video's up on youtube of what companies don't want you to see. It was a real eye opener. They don't even need animals for tests anymore with human skin cloning and such but they choose to do it. Can you believe Mars (the candy bar company) also tests on animals? Wow

Always an option if you are going to buy meat. However it will only be a matter of time before some big unethical company tries to either take them over or run them into the ground.

Same thing happens with produce farmers, you are either with Monsanto or not

I prefer to NOT have Roundup in my corn thank you and the bees will thank you too .
