LD Tillicum new stacking policy

Just went and stacked at the Tillicum LD and thankfully was still able to do my stacks!! They have changed their policy and coupons that say "Cannot be combined with any other coupon" or "Cannot be combined with any other coupon offer" are no longer eligible for stacking. Didnt mess up any of my stacks but I thought people would want to check their coupons before going so they don't get stuck.

Previously, LD Tillicum would take any coupon stack (aside from P&G) but this was causing issues because people were complaining at the Colwood LD that they weren't letting them stack this way. Sooooo...... instead of Colwood adjusting to Tillicum's way of doing things, Tillicum is changing to the way Colwood does it and we are all losing.

Oh, and the store manager from LD Tillicum (an avid couponer from what CS told me) has been transferred to the LD Yates St. location. I told her about the issues people have had with couponing there and she said that shouldnt be a problem anymore

No, they are still taking that to mean only one of that specific coupon/UPC. Thankfully,

I went to LD and tried to use my stackable coupons (all with different UPC#) but got refused >.<
The cashier said that all of my coupons has "one coupon per purchase" on it, that's why I can't stack them... I was like WHAT??

Is there anywhere I can find the LD coupon stacking policy? I've seen it somewhere on SC but don't remember which thread. I would love to bring it with me next time I go as some kind of a supporting document.

Actually this is the way they should have been doing it since LD updated/changed their coupon policy in April. I've copied most of their coupon policy below and bolded the wording that applies.


It is the responsibility of the retailers to follow the offer and restrictions printed on the coupons in order to have the coupon redeemed. There are a few key restrictions to be aware of:

• The amount of the coupon. This is the maximum amount that coupon can be redeemed for
• Expiry date has not been exceeded
• Is redeemable in Canada(has a Canadian Clearing House mailing address)
• The product named on the coupon has been purchased
• The size and/or flavour of the item, as stated on the coupon, have been purchased
• The required number of items has been purchased
• If a coupon states it cannot be used or combined with any other coupon offer, then that coupon cannot be used with other coupons.
• Only one coupon per purchase. This means only one of this exact type of coupons can be used. (multiple coupons can be used as long as they are all different)
• Taxes: see question below

This didn't just apply to the P&G but all coupons with this wording on them. So be sure and check your coupons when making your stacks.

It's been that way for a while colwood was not stacking any thing that said one coupon per purchase I went to tillicum and complained about that. Now it should be okay
