i haven't but i'm thinking about checking it out.
i picture it being like a bargain harolds (remember those stores?)
do they take coupons at giant tiger?

I've been there and they do take coupons. It's more like The Biway then bargain harolds. ( A bit bias I used to work at Biway. LOL)

I love giant tiger the one in Halifax is really small and never have what I need but I just grab the flyer and PM at walmart..
They do take coupons..
Giant Tiger opens in the fall here in Dartmouth I cant wait..

I love Giant Tiger. I find they are very coupon-friendly as well.

They have good deals on grocery. Sometimes I go in when I'm in the Valley.

Like upscale Bargain Harolds. Like Target will be an upscaled Zellers.
Usually cleaner and more organized.
Great prices.

But aside from the added grocery dept, it's just another Hart, Saan, BiWay, Bargain Shop, etc.

Giant Tiger are opening a new store in Dartmouth Woodlawn mall, scheduled date is Sept 10th or so. I cant wait they have some very good produce everyday regular low prices, much better than the grocery stores. Last week I got Romaine Hearts, 2 in a bag for 1.27 cant beat it. I cannot wait. When I go to Halifax I go each time because they are very good prices

I find produce there, quite often, at good prices. You don't expect this and it isn't always in the flyer.
Other stuff, you have to know your prices. The one here in Halifax is pretty small but still worth a trip in. I also go to the one in Moncton, which is bigger and better.
