That's one of my worst fears about driving. Wondering if it ever happens to me will I be able to steer the car safely.
Hope you didn't get hurt and that no damage other than the tire occurred to your car.

You have no idea how scary that was. At first I thought the engine blew, the sound & the smell.
I was in the far left lane doing about 130 (don't tell anyone) & instantly the speed dropped to 90.
There's no shoulder on the left, so I had to move over 4 lanes 2 get to get out of traffic. NOT an easy task.
But, I'm ok, kept control of the car & no accidents 2 tie things up for hours.
But geez.

Main thing is your ok, any idea what happened to the tire? Maybe you ran something shrap over, or it could of been just a bad one out of the bunch.
