I know CCS works very hard on research and it is always a hope that contributions will give them that little edge they need for the ultimate break through.

It really just seemed like I should, after ready about NancyM, donate to them rather than buy something I probably would not need this week. I kept thinking how young she was and how it could happen to anyone. I feel so bad for her young family and made sure to give my DD an extra big hug last night. Like a lot of the things done in your "pay it forward" thread it was really the right thing to do.

I did not post this there but I can. I have had cancer take many loved ones and it is always hard but even harder when it takes someone so young!

Yes, even though I don't know Nancy I was pretty teary also when I read the forum post. A couple years back a friend of mine died at 18 from cancer and seeing cancer shatter yet another family is heart breaking.
