If you don't want or can't afford a 10 inch Ipad , this MS Surface tablet is a decent tablet at this price.
Other tablets arealso there in the market from Samsung , Asus etc..but this MS tablet is pretty good at this price range.
Might even go lower during back to school

Permanent price drop from MS , might be even lower by X'Mas , if you are willing to wait.
I don't think it will go the HP Touchpad or RIM Play Book way , but further price drops are imminent.
When it came out , I said MS needed a more aggressive price point and made a big blunder by overpricing it in the range of Ipad , they now seem to going that way to break Ipads monopoly, but it might be too little too late.
You have to be strong right of the gate , when it comes to stuff like this ..no wonder they only sold 1.5 million units ..and the sad thing is its a pretty good and decently built tablet on par with Ipad or even better than it.
Poor marketing strategy and over confidence cost them.
They should have learnt from the Zune debacle.
The new XBOX is making the same mistake going against Sony's PS4 , this X'Mas
