While at RCSS Simcoe, I was looking at the 400g - 450g packages of Farmers Market squares @ $5.00 when I noticed that, right next to them, were 750g Farmers Market Variety Pack squares also priced at $5.00. I think they're normally closer to $10.00. I bought a dozen packages which went right from the freezer at RCSS into my freezer at home. I'm not sure if this is the same price at other stores but I thought I would share the deal, just in case. Each package includes 5 x brownies, 5 x lemon squares and 5 x 7-layer squares. There were also packages on the shelf with a best before date of May 17 and they had lots of them. They were available both thawed on the shelf and frozen in cases.
They also seemed to have an overstock of bananas so these were priced at 39 cents per pound. Added to my PC Optimum points offer on bananas, I stocked up on these, too.
During the pandemic, I haven't been shopping the way I used to so, when I do go into a store, it's great to find unexpected deals!
