Got 25 000 pc points missing after fighting with pc for them..that is a brag on itself !!! :)
I was looking for Shopkins and heard that they were available at Claire's Memorial Day sale. There were 6 packages left at the Pen Centre (St. Catharines) Claire's, clearance priced and then with an extra "buy 3, get 3 FREE" offer.
I bought:
4 x mega packs of 20 Shopkins, similar to these http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index....ctId=125723976
2 x 12 packs of Shopkins, similar to these http://www.toysrus.ca/product/index....ctId=125724086
If I bought these at ToysRUs, I would have paid 4 x $19.98 plus 2 x $9.98 for a total of almost $100.00 (which I would NEVER do at these ridiculous prices!)
What did I pay? 3 x $2.00 plus 3 x FREE for a total of $6.00 ;)
insurance brag:shade:
insurance company raised rates by $400:thumbs_down:
old insurance broker negotiated a $300 discount, but that's still a $100 increase from last year with no claims and no accidents:thumbs_down:
old insurance broker is under new ownership and we liked the previous owners:(
checked out Reader's choice newspaper recommendation for new insurance broker
new insurance broker got us a $200 discount
http://edition.pagesuite-professiona...8-83e37818a73d
we are paying $200 less than last year, saving us money:whoo:
plus
we earn CAA dollars, discounting our CAA renewal:whoo:
niceeeee
:top:
Hoping I don't have to deal with such an increase on my renewal (August). My rates are great right now (21y/o Male, 2012 Mazda 3, All coverage except at-fault, for $152/mo). I'm with Belair and on renewal I'll be getting a 25% discount from their automerit program and since I turned 21 I'm moving up an age category and I think my rates will drop a little along with that. I'm hoping overall my rates will drop by about $550/yr with this discount and my age. Making it only about $110/mo, just hoping for no massive rate increases.

Beginning today, Zehrs has an in-store promo (back page of flyer): 3,000 PCO points for every $10.00 spent on Cheerios/Fibre 1 cereal/snacks. I checked the online price of the Cheerios: $3.74 for regular size, $4.99 for family size.
I'm not sure if it's all Zehrs or just this one but the Zehrs I went to (Pen Centre, St. Catharines, ON) had the family size boxes of Cheerios (multi-grain and honey nut varieties) scanning at $2.99! As an added bonus, these boxes are the ones with the "$3.00 off fresh berries with your next purchase of a General Mills cereal" coupon. (Coupon expires October 31, cereal is best before February/March 2019)
Between the $2.99 price, the berries coupon on each box and the 3,000/$10.00 promo, I decided to stock up!
Factoring in the points earned, my family size boxes of Cheerios cost about $2.20 and each box has a berries coupon on it. :)
A box of 10 pads made by Always pads for $2.99 after my .50 cents off NED coupon. The box will likely last me for 2 months.
plus someone on here posted about the freebies and Anne Doherty posted on the blog too
so you could get more
