Yes, I get the tax back as well. It looks like they do it as an exchange on the receipt - return @ the old price, resell @ the new price.

Got some good deals by combining sales, price matching, coupons and rebate apps:
At Walmart
Swiffer Duster Kit $5.47 + Swiffer Dry Refill $5.97 Total: $11.44
Coupons: $4.00 WUB2 swiffer product(from Walmart magazine)
CO51 Rebates for the two products: $5.00
Caddle Rebate: $2.00
Total Savings $11.00. Paid $.44 for two Swiffer products.
Becel Stick - PM Foodbasics 1.99 - .50 coupon - $1.00 CO51 Rebate = $.49
Liberty Greek Crunch Yogurt 50% off sticker on sale for ($1.73 - $1.00 coupon) x 5. Expiry date June 30th but they will be long gone by then. I only had 5 coupons on me or I would have gotten more.
On the back page of the flyer, Zehrs has an offer listed of 5,000 PCO points for every $10 spent on Iogo yogurt. I saw that offer yesterday so I moved my digital offer of 600 PCO points for every $3.00 spent on Iogo yogurt forward so I could use it with this offer. And, as any Smart Canuck would do, I added some coupons into the mix to make for an AMAZING deal!
14 x Iogo Protein 4 x 125g @ $3.00 each = $42.00
7 x Iogo Nano 6 x 93mL @ $3.00 each = $21.00
3 x Iogo Lactose Free 650g tubs @ $2.49 each = $7.47
$42.00 + $21.00 + $7.47 = $70.47
I earned these points:
35,000 in-store + 13,800 digital = total of 48,800 points = $48.80 value
I used these coupons:
7 x "Buy 2 Iogo Protein 4 x 125g, get 1 Iogo Nano 6 x 93mL FREE" (tear-pad) = $21.00 savings
3 x $1.00 Lactose Free 650g tubs = $3.00 savings
for a total coupon savings of $21.00 + $3.00 = $24.00
So, for all that yogurt, it worked out to:
$70.47 cost - $48.80 (points value) - $24.00 (coupons used) = -$2.33
ALL that yogurt totally FREE and I ended up with $2.33 value more than I spent!!! :smartass:
It probably makes more sense to put it this way:
$70.47 - $24.00 (coupons) = $46.47 total cost
$46.47 (total cost) - $48.80 (points value) = difference of -$2.33
On the back page of the Fortinos flyer is a sale price of $1.49 for a group of snack foods (Pringles, peanuts, etc.). Listed among the snacks is Orville Redenbacher popcorn. It would have been easy to miss.
I bought:
8 x Orv Red Sweet & Salty Kettlecorn 220g @ $1.49 each - 8 x $1.00 coupons (Walmart magazine) = $3.92 or 49 cents per bag (plus tax) :)
Got another set of great points deals at SDM today:
3 x Janes chicken strips - $4.00 coupons each - 1200 points each personal offer
4 x Garnier Fructis shampoo/conditioner - $2.00 wub2 coupons - 3000 wub2 in store offer
1 carton eggs
6,000 points wus $30 or more
I accumulated 16,000 points.
My bill total was $17.97 (after coupons of course)
Total OOP: $1.97
