Boght 5 x $50 sears gcs at rexall and earned 40 x 5 = 200 Air Miles.

A quick question: receipt says that gcs will be activitated in 24 hrs or they will be void if i try to use them before that. Is it true? I have never had this problem with gcs bought at sdm or rcss.

I'm thinking that it's the PC reusable bag. It 's the only taxable item. So the 10% student discount on the reusable bag comes to $0.088 and rounded comes to $0.1 or $-0.1

Yeah, I was able to figure it out and even though it's only $0.01 off, it's still amazing. I've never been able to do that before!!!

at no frills they have airwick plug ins on sale for $3.97. i printed out a $3- off coupon from smartsource.ca so paid 97 cents. ;-)

Well, once again I had a lot of deals this week, but the ones that stand of course the Almay one. But today I priced matched my turkeys, I got a $41.00 and a $44.00 for $12xx and $14xx, I priced matched the new flyer the Box, their price was .88 cents, my store prices matches turkeys plus they give you a grade A turkey for the price of the competitors utility. So I ended up with 2 butterballs for $26.00 instead of $85.00!! The cashier called the supervisor, then she called the manager, she didn't tell him the price or that is was a butterball, she just said someone wants to price match a turkey and it's a new flyer, he said to accept it...it was a start the car moment, I thought I threw my receipt in my bag..but I was so excited, I don't know what I did with it ha,ha,ha!!

Not sure about the "void" part but I do remember buying Petro Canada gas cards one year at Shoppers and they said told me I couldn't use them right away. The activation has to transfer from the retailer to the giftcard vendor, if it's an instore giftcard, there would be no delay. No idea about Sears though.

Passed by the inconspicuous clearance display at our Oceans a few weeks ago, and I bought 2 boxes of Hersheys chocolate for 2.99 each (http://www.walmart.ca/en/ip/hersheys.../6000054728372) and 2 bags of Nestle chocolate for 1.99 each. It had Butterfinger, Crunch and Baby Ruth minis, each weighing 556g or so. Best part was NO SMARTIES!!!
