Today's the day to get the veggie & herb garden planted but before I go off in search of good garden deals, pretty happy with some of my other shops so far this long weekend:
1. SDM - the 'surprise' Friday offers which included a 3K wus $10 on F&S. Picked up Catelli Healthy Harvest pasta ($0.99 price freeze), Schneiders Pepperettes ($9.99 - 8 mgr coupon) and Cascade D/W detergent ($0.99 clearance - $0.50 coupon). Out of pocket $3.97 exc. tax and got 3110 pts.
2. No Frills - a small but interesting shop which taught me a few lessons, namely pull out my calculator, weigh my fruits/veggie purchases to ensure I meet offer thresholds AND be prepared for right decision if the deal doesn't go the way you hoped. In hindsight I should not have bothered with the bacon (even though still a good deal, not as good as have done previously)
- Tide yellow bottles. PM'd to Metro 2 @ $4.99 ea. Used $5 coupon. Submitted to C51 for $5 rebate. And got 1600 PC pts !
- ML Bacon $3.88. Planned B2G1 free but cashier said either that or the $2.50 cpns so got 2x($3.88-2.50). Received 600 PC pts
- Buy Tostitos Chips $2.77 + Salsa $3.19, get a free Pepsi 2L (value $0.99). Just missed my Tostitos 400 PC pts by 4cents
- Rest of shop was fruits & veggies. Total after coupons $24.17 - $20 redeemed. $4.15 oop + 2800 pts +$5 C51 back
3. Walmart - thanks to thor9's post for Iams cat food, just ordered 5lb bags for $4 each, delivering to the post office around the corner.Last edited by ReallySC; Sun, May 22nd, 2016 at 11:08 AM.

Still have to make it to Rexall (Got a raincheck for last week's 2/$2 Ziplocs) and I'm going back to No Frills right now to PM some Tostitos, and get free Pop and cheap Eggs after coupon) but so far, these are my deals:
NO FRILLS
The eye of round roasts are on for $2.97/lb. I paid 38.68 for two of them. From these I cut: 20 steaks, 1 lb of beef cubes for kebabs, and a nice sized roast. This will make my family of four 8 to 9 beef meals for $4.29 to $4.83 for the meat, per meal. I spend more than that on chicken quarters. I am thrilled! Can’t remember what century I spent $4 for a four-pack of steaks!
$3.88 /pack - $2.50 maple leaf bacon. I used B3G1 to get free Ready Crisp.
Bacon. Not the best price but I have lots of the bacon coupons to spend.
10 x Colgate Total for $1.30. They cost $1.00, used $1.00 insert coupon. I still have 6 unopened packs from last year’s Optic White sale.
Going back today for some other deals.
WALMART
20 x Sweet Baby Rays BBQ sauce. Y’all know from my last post that I love it now right? $1.97 each - $2 coupon, so I got 3 cents back per bottle. They handed me 60 cents with my receipt. I was over the moon. That was my first ever overage (I rarely shop Walmart, this will change any time I discover an overage now).
:D :D
SUPERSTORE
5 x Fruit2O for $5.00, plus 5 for free using B1G1 coupon.
Free Goldfish Grahams. 2/$4.00 I applied B2G1 coupon.
Shoppers
Earned 5,850 points. Not going to break it down only because I can’t remember all of my digital coupons but I did have a digital coupon for almost everything. Including: Colgate Total Advanced (yes 4 more toothpaste!) and Lady’s Speedstick Deodorant, and Milk 4L. Also cashed in my free 18 pack of OB tampons… woo hoo to a free period lmao!Last edited by frugallegemom; Sun, May 22nd, 2016 at 12:31 PM.

I rarely get good PC Plus offers, but since all the star aligned, I just had to post.
I had an offer of 1,600 pts when purchase $8 of Tide products.
Purchased 24x Tide Pods @ $4.47 = $107 - 24x $3 CPN and paid $35.28 pre tax.
Earned 20,800 (=$20.80) bonus + 3,210 (=$3.20) regular points (30x). Therefore, if I factor in points earned, net cost is $11.28 pre tax (or $.47/ Tide Pods Pack)Last edited by rockco; Tue, May 24th, 2016 at 11:11 AM.

HOLY CRAP.
I usually wait until the weekend for brags but I CANNOT.
Checked kijiji by fluke last night and saw a VITAMIX ASPIRE GC for 75 FREAKING DOLLARS. I messaged the seller right away. It was in a small town an hour and a half away from me but I drove there to get it. HOLY CRAP HOLY CRAP.
I never thought I'd get one and not for THAT good of a price. Gas there and back cost me about $10.
https://www.vitamix.ca/Shop/Aspire-GC-Compact-Container
$689 CAD. BEFORE TAX. I WANT TO SCREAM SO LOUD.
EDIT: I forgot the best part! About a month ago I bought a Kitchenaid food processor at a garage sale for $10, and relisted it on Kijiji for $75, saving the money for my 'garage sale money' when it sold.
So, if I really think about it, I profited $65. In the end, this Vitamix only set me back $20 ($10 for gas and $10 oop for the item).Last edited by Chantel; Wed, May 25th, 2016 at 09:14 AM.
