At Target, Ziploc was on sale for .74 last week so used the $3.00 wub Ziploc and bread with their dempster's ww bread. The bread only cost 2.29 so in total, only spent .06 for Ziploc and bread.
* just check my receipt and ziploc was even cheaper.see correction above.

Just joined Kiva.org, an organization that funds micro-loans to people in developing countries. I love the idea that the $25 I saved in groceries can be given to a fish woman with 5 children in the Philippines to help grow her business.

For me, the Scrubbing Bubbles at Atlantic Superstore. $2 each, and a save $3 WUB 2 Coupon Zone coupon, so .50 each. This included a couple types of bathroom cleaner, toilet bowl cleaner, plus an all purpose with bleach. I don't even clean that much! I bought eight, that will last me quite awhile. Plus, they had lunch kits (a small lunch bag, two plastic containers and a water bottle), marked down to $4 but rang up at $9+, so I got a SCOP.
Been a long time since I got this much of a deal!
Do food banks ever accept cleaning products? If you can't afford food, surely you're in need of cleaners too.Last edited by Zonny; Sat, Oct 26th, 2013 at 04:06 PM.

Best deal this week 16 packs of Huggies wipes FREE ( well almost had to pay the taxes). Was at Superstore last week and there was a rep handing out baby supplies and coupons for $3.00 off any huggies wipes refills. I had walked away showed DH the coupon and he says you should ask her if you could have one more coupon. Thought ok sure doesn't hurt to ask and she smiled and gave me the rest that she had on her table. Short expiry Nov.1. But was at the Superstore tonight and saw packs of wipes on for $2.00 so I stocked up, and nope did not clear the shelf.

Free paint!
Here's how:
We went to the Durham Region paint recycling day*. We cleaned out old paint and took them in.
After the guys unloaded our paint, one came up to us and said courtesy of Walmart and Durham Region, we get a FREE gallon of paint! Perfect since we needed some paint and saved about $22!
